This course will help reveal the nature, current and future impact of E–governance which will allow for the study of what it is currently doing and what it can do in various governments.

It will also introduce participants to the ways in which internet and other information and communication technologies are being used by governments to provide information and services to citizens, business and other governments.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

  • Get familiar with the basic concepts and technology of e-governance
  • Comprehend the major laws and regulations impacting the development of e-governance.
  • Apply basic concepts in preparing e-governance proposals and plans
  • Have a better understanding of the influence E-Governance has on public sector
